I had big plans on what I was going to do this weekend. None of it happened. I finally had no emergency jobs to do so I didn’t turn on my computer all weekend. It felt amazing so I’m not going to start pushing on the last night. Tomorrow I’m finishing the next Tale of Sails. It feels like the skies have cleared.

When deciding not too finish anything tonight felt like such a guilty relief I know it was time for a break. I’m going to just paint some colors tomorrow and not put much thought into this. I know I’m way behind on tale of sails and it never leaves my mind.
My work schedule the last few weeks has left me exhausted. I fell asleep on the floor trying to get Dilly down. I’m posting this on the way back to my own bed. I’m falling behind here but I’m going to bed.
To anyone that reads this i’m sorry, there’s nothing today. Congratulations to the person not reading this, I just can’t care. I’m going to go sit.
Cathartic exercise.
I thought I had a full weekend away from any work. Who needs that? I mean isn’t that the point? Live to work? I can only laugh ruefully at the insignificance of the things I make. Who knows what next weekend will bring. Probably just another “Emergency Job” that will be ignored for 2 weeks after being sent.
This was not what I wanted to draw and yet the feeling was so overwhelming that this was at least a cathartic exercise.
I don’t have many more weekends of work left in me.
Priorities
Dilly woke up and wouldn’t go back to sleep unless rocked. I only get so many of those any more so I took advantage. I can draw later.
I’ll update this shortly.
Re-Opening
Things have ramped up exponentially at work as clients prepare for reopening. The lack of sleep has left me in the same addled state as a viewing of the holy mountain does.
After Effects
And here you can see the evenings work. It ran longer than anticipated. I should have more time for these soon.
Long Days
The biggest downside to living at an apartment is that I have no where to do car repairs. I say that like I would actually do them but I have about as much time to do car repairs as I do to learn how many steps it takes to crabwalk around our building which is precisely, but not quite, zero. This should be noted is a much smaller number than the repair bill actually cost.
