Life in the way.
Current events have chosen today to weigh heavily on Munch’s mood. Supporting them is more important than drawing this tonight.

I have gone through the 7 stages of grief over the last two weeks but had come to terms with the new normal on monday. Then today happened. I got kicked back to the start of the process. I never thought when I started Dinke and Dilly it would become a journal of a pandemic. The next two weeks are going to be rough I think. At least a Tale of Sails is figured out through the end, I may just run through them.
I was in a good mood until I ran to the store. Now I’m just sitting in panic that I made a terribly stupid decision. Odds are I’ll be fine but my brain won’t let go of this panic for a few days I think. There may just be some artwork strips coming up so I don’t have to try and write anything and can escape.
So when the missionary strip turn started the news was not about the coronavirus or the fact that we are living through a pandemic. I would have avoided Billy going to a church to make a joke statement about life in a comic. The news is a giant wall that A Tale of Sails smashed into.
I have to sleep to keep some sanity.
Two things I need to announce to the wind.
First, I’ve decided to set myself a midnight bedtime monday through friday.
Second, the next boardgame playthough that needs story sections will be planned out better. For this whole section my note only says. “Stopped at Missionary to absolve bounty” Why did we stop? Why the change of heart? What should another island look like?
Welcome to another behind the scene’s diary entry. Halfway through what was supposed to be today’s comic I froze in panic, I need to run or something.
In all honesty I needed to stall the first day. Then I thought it would be funny to make the whole week a stalling joke.
Just a quick follow up to monday, there can be multiple ways to stall, but not this. This one is definitely not stalling.
Not at all.
