The Idea
After searching for a boardgame table I discovered I don’t want one badly enough to pay for one. So the Idea sprang forth. I already had the table, I’ll just make mine into what I need.

While tempting, I can’t buy a game table just to keep a game out easier. With youtube videos how hard could it be to build a table?
I am child. Destroyer of piles. Sometimes it would be great to leave something out and not have it be moved when I look at it again. Some day, some day.
It’s not often that I get to play board games any more. One of my favorite games is Elder Sign, a dice rolling adventure through a spooky town that’s going mad. You roll dice to match,.. symbols,…….It’s Yahtzee, spooky Yahtzee. I don’t care, I love it anyway.
This is a comic about life, monsters, and other things. I’ll be posting new strips Monday through Friday so there will always be something new to keep you entertained. There are plenty of strips you can go back and read through. The first few are about the process of getting this site rolling, from black and white to color, to the struggled steps along the way. Posted with comic will be some backstory behind its creation, whether about how it looks, how it was drawn, or the story behind its concept.
Welcome to Dinke and Dilly.
Ever the exciting game when that small bit of something on the ground is causing a long shadow. Get close and look? Get something to catch it? Is it fast. I do like playing with the frame border when I can.
While I was falling asleep I had one of my best ideas. There was no way I’d forget this one. Now I just have a lingering tickle in my mind when I try to recall it like a toddler putting blocks away in a puzzle. The pieces are there just waiting the right spot to pop through. In the meantime I’ll just keep my notebook next to my pillow.
Two and a half jobs is one and a half too many.I can’t complain though, if it weren’t for labor day out of the office then something else would have fallen behind. I need to figure out how to do speech bubbles on light backgrounds better.
I thought I finally had a night off. Dilly was asleep, I had five strips sketched out, and it was still a couple hours before bedtime. So I pulled out dice forge and got it set up to try and learn finally after three weeks and she woke up. By the time I had gotten her back to sleep I only had enough time left to pack it back up and stare wistfully at the box as I put it back on the shelf. I won’t let myself get a new game until it gets played so I’m getting antsy. I need to stop watching the dice tower.
